Create a Static Group

Overview

Static Groups are essential to manage your NSX-T Firewall.

They are hosted on a T1 Edge or on a VDC Group. More details HERE

Prerequisites

Be familiar with your network infrastructure

Static groups

You can use Static groups on your T1 Edge and/or the Distributed Firewall

• From the Networking / Edge Gateways / Static groups / NEW section

Give a Name to the Group then select MANAGE MEMBERS to add the Organization network(s).

You can then create Firewall rules on your T1 Edge by adding, in the Source and Destination section, the newly created Static Group.
