Identifying Your Backup Master Server

It’s important you identify your Master Backup Server on which your VMs will be backed up, especially if you want to set up File mode backup.

To do this, connect to your NetBackup Portal.

Select the VM, then from the Details tab, the master is indicated on the Backup Server line.

In the example, this is Master Server 01 as deduced by the last 4 alphanumeric characters MA01: 195.25.97.54
