Checking Backup Prerequisites
Prerequisites
VMware Tools must be installed and up to date on VMs (consistent with ESXi 6.5p2)
Associated services must be started.
Windows VM
- VmWare Tools Automatic start activated and running
- COM+ Event System Automatic start activated and running
- COM+ System Application manual start, running
- Volume snapshot – manual start, running
- Microsoft software snapshot provider – manual start, running
