New budget alerts in your Cloud Customer Space
Via the Cloud Customer Space, users can now easily configure budget alerts and gain full visibility into their IT expenses. This feature allows users to set custom thresholds and receive notifications when they are approaching or exceeding them.
How it works
In the “Bills” area, in the “My Budgets” tab, set the budget and alarms for your Flexible Engine tenant – you can access it from the “Manage My Budgets” button on the home page.
Types of alerts
Users can set up three types of alerts (see the screenshot below):
- A monthly monitoring alert that is triggered when the current month’s usage (sum of usage since the 1st of the month) exceeds the set budget. Set up this alert: budget, title of the alert, recipients of the alert email.
- An alert “since a given date” that is triggered when the sum of uses since a given month exceeds the configured budget. Configuration of this alert: budget, given date (month), title of the alert, recipients of the alert email.
- An alert “on a duration” which is triggered when the sum of the uses since the last months exceeds the configured budget. Configuration of this alert: budget, duration (number of months), title of the alert, recipients of the alert email.
Each user can configure the budget alert for the Flexible Engine domains they have access to. If your organization has multiple Flexible Engine domains, you can request a “partner login” from Orange Business – you will have the ability to create or modify budget alerts for each Flexible Engine tenant in your organization.
