What’s new?
We are pleased to announce the release of new bundles between Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR) and several of our core services, including Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS) and Scalable File Service (SFS). This package provides our customers with a comprehensive integrated solution to manage their backup and recovery needs.
Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR)
What is it?
Auto backup is an essential feature that can be configured for any system that deals with critical data. It ensures that data can be quickly recovered in the event of any unintentional data loss or security breach, thus minimizing downtime and enhancing business continuity.
Bundle #1: Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS)
- One of the important use case of this bundle is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, which handle complex data and require constant data availability. With auto backup, businesses can recover their data within minutes, ensuring seamless operations and uninterrupted service delivery.
- By creating backups for ECSs deployed with ERP systems, creating images using the backups, and then sharing the images with other users, ERP-deployed ECSs can be quickly provisioned. This shortens the deployment time from half a day to 30 minutes and reduces the delivery manpower by 80% for a single user.
Bundle #2: Scalable File Service (SFS) Turbo
- Automatic backup is created for the file system where core software application data is deployed. Data can be quickly recovered (Recovery Time Objectives RTO within minutes) in the event of an accidental deletion or virus attack.
- Backup data can be replicated to other regions to achieve cross region-level high reliability.
