What’s new?

We are pleased to announce that it is now possible to use the Graph Engine Service (GES), which facilitates querying and analysis of graph-structured databases based on various relationships. It is specifically suited for scenarios requiring the analysis of rich relationship data, including social relationship analysis, marketing recommendations, public opinions and social listening, IT dependencies, and anti-fraud.

Graph Engine Service (GES)

GES, a cloud-based graph computing service on Flexible Engine, is an advanced graph database using vertices for data and edges for entity relationships. With a GUI-based interface, it excels in real-time storage, analysis, and processing of graph-structured data at any scale. GES offers intuitive visualization of graph structures and relationships, along with robust management and monitoring tools for data oversight and process tracking.

Key features

  1. Graph Storage: GES provides robust solutions for large-scale graph data storage, supporting graph databases and optimized data models tailored for efficient graph processing.
  2. Graph processing and analysis: Efficiency is at the core of GES, offering streamlined processing of graph algorithms and analytics through a library featuring 30 high-performance algorithms. The service supports complex graph queries and traversals, including drill-down, Gremlin Query language, Cypher, and custom actions.
  3. Scalability: GES ensures scalability by allowing easy resource scaling based on the size and complexity of graph data. It excels in high-performance computing for large-scale graph applications, accommodating databases with up to ten billion edges.
  4. Graph visualization: The platform incorporates user-friendly tools for visualizing graph structures, enhancing understanding of relationships and patterns within the graph data.
  5. Real-time processing: GES supports real-time or near-real-time processing of graph data, including the capability to handle streaming graph data and dynamic updates efficiently.
  6. Security and access control: Security is a priority for GES, offering features to protect graph data and resist security attacks. Access control mechanisms manage user permissions and data privacy, supporting fine-grained permission management at the label/record level.
  7. Distributed computing: GES leverages distributed computing techniques to optimize performance and handle large-scale graph computations. It ensures redundancy through distributed storage and processing of graph data.
  8. Monitoring and management: GES provides comprehensive monitoring tools to track the performance and health of the graph engine. It includes built-in interfaces for configuring and overseeing graph processing tasks, ensuring efficient management of graph databases.

Advantages

  • Scalability: GES offers a scalable solution, allowing users to easily scale their graph processing capabilities based on the size and complexity of their data
  • Performance: It is optimized for efficient graph processing, allowing for faster and more effective analysis of graph-structured data against best market benchmarks, at any scale.
  • Ease of Use: This service comes with user-friendly interfaces and tools that simplify graph computing tasks integrated with FE console.
  • Integration with Other FE Services: GES integrates seamlessly with IAM, Cloud Trace (CTS), Cloud Eye (CES), Tag Management (TMS), Entreprise Project (EPS), providing users with a comprehensive ecosystem for their data processing needs.
  • Security: It implements robust security measures to protect data to provide high reliability and ensure the privacy and compliance of users (especially with sensitive graph data).
  • Cost-effectiveness: It follows a pay-as-you-go model based on the size of the graph databases, allowing users to pay only for the resources they use.
