What’s new?

We are announcing the planned closure of several services within the Flexible Engine cloud portfolio. These services will be phased out over the course of 2024, as part of our continuous efforts to optimize and streamline our offerings. 

Targeted services 

Hilens

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: HiLens is an AI application development and runtime management platform that leverages device-cloud synergy. Working with ModelBox, an open-source AI application framework, HiLens allows the deployment of AI models trained by ModelArts to various devices and manages them online.

ModelArts

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: ModelArts is an all-in-one development platform designed for AI developers. It streamlines the AI development lifecycle with features like distributed training, automated model building, and model deployment, enabling developers to quickly build and manage AI models.

Cloud Stream Services

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: Cloud Stream Service (CS) is a real-time big data stream analysis service on the public cloud. It fully manages computing clusters, allowing users to focus on StreamSQL services. CS is compatible with Apache Flink 1.5.3 and Apache Spark 2.2.1 APIs.

Multi-Cluster Manager

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: A service for managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across different environments, ensuring consistent and efficient operations. 

Application Orchestration Service 

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: Application Orchestration Service (AOS) simplifies cloud service management by enabling the deployment of applications with just a few clicks. It uses templates to describe and orchestrate applications and related cloud services, facilitating automatic deployment, creation, and end-to-end lifecycle management.

  • Description: A service for managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across different environments, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.

Resource Template Service

  • Status: Closed 
  • Description: The Content Delivery Network (CDN) is an intelligent virtual network that enhances internet infrastructure by caching origin content on Points of Presence (PoPs) closer to users. This improves content loading speed, site response times, and availability by overcoming issues related to low bandwidth, heavy traffic, and uneven PoP distribution.

Data Express Service 

  • Status: July 2024 
  • Description: Data Express Service (DES) is a TB-scale data transmission service that utilizes physical storage devices, such as Teleport, to facilitate the transfer of large volumes of data to Flexible Engine.
