We are informing our customers of the abolition of outgoing data transfer fees, in accordance with the EU “Data Act” regulation and the French “SREN” law. The aim of this measure is to make it easier for customers to switch cloud service providers and reduce the associated costs, in order to offer greater flexibility when migrating.

Legal context
The EU Data Act Regulation, which came into force on January 11, 2024, establishes harmonized rules for data access and use. The French “SREN” Law, in force since May 21, 2024, incorporates certain provisions of the Data Act while imposing additional obligations specific to France. These regulations aim to make it easier for customers to switch cloud service providers.
Impact on our customers
As part of this changing legal environment, Orange Business is offering its customers a simplified process for transferring outgoing data, eliminating the associated fees. To take advantage of this offer, users must :
- Contact support by email or via their cloud customer area to request free transfer.
- Fill in the form provided by the support team, specifying the total volume of hosted data to be transferred.
- Free access will be granted in the form of a voucher, after evaluation and validation of the request.
