The VMs on the dedicated hosts won’t run with VMs of other tenants. The Dedicated Host (DeH) service enables the tenant user to specify the type of the dedicated host and one type of dedicated host is suitable to run specific instance types, and also the DeH enables the tenant user to bring his/her own license to save money by exploiting or migrating to public cloud service.

A web-based management console is provided for you to flexibly utilize the features of DeH that work out of the box. DeH has the following features:

You can monitor the sockets, cores, memory size and utilization of the dedicated hosts, and to adjust your allocation to meet business requirements and save money anytime.

DeH supports the BYOL (Bring Your Own License) mode. The tenant user can leverage DeH to save money on licensing costs. The tenant user can bring existing licenses of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office, etc.


DeH adds another layer of computing resource isolation to tenant, and the workload on the dedicated host won’t be interfered by the workload of another tenant.


The isolation of physical host will help the tenant user to meet the compliance regulatory requirements.
