For this first episode, we meet Cyrielle Ramage, Partner Marketing Manager.
Describe your background and your job
I joined the Cloud department of Orange Business Services in 2017 during my Marketing Master in business school. I started as an operational marketing manager for 1 year. I was in charge of acquisition/lead generation campaigns.
Afterwards, I had the chance to evolve towards a position of Partner Marketing Manager. Now, for more than 4 years, my role is to deploy and coordinate our operational marketing plans with our strategic partners in France and abroad.
I also coordinate budgets and certifications. This daily coordination is also carried out through cross-functional committees with different professions: HR, sales, pre-sales, engineers, etc. It is during these committees that decisions are made.
What drives you in this sector, your job, your missions?
The Cloud sector is very dynamic and growing rapidly. The Cloud has revolutionized the digital transformation of companies. Being able to evolve in a sector with great prospects is very stimulating.
What drives me in my job is the fact that I have rich and varied missions. Having to manage several projects at the same time can be stressful at times, but it is also a great source of motivation!
Being able to interact with a wide ecosystem of people with different profiles and professions is also enriching. Beyond our partners who each have their own way of doing things, I have the chance to work with various teams at Orange Business Services (marketing, HR, sales, engineers, finance etc).
Share a success you are proud of
I am proud to say that the actions implemented with our partners have a concrete impact on the company and contribute to the achievement of our objectives as well as to customer satisfaction I can share with you some examples:
- The training/certifications organized within the framework of our partnerships (for example with Microsoft, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services or HPE) make it possible to develop our know-how and the skills of our engineers and thus meet the needs of our customers.
- Some actions are also real business levers, in particular the lead generation campaigns and/or customer events that we co-organize with our sales and marketing teams and our partners in Paris, and France regions but also in Europe and Asia
Any advice for a young person who would like to enter this sector or your profession?
If you want to get into the IT sector, don’t hesitate! It is a very dynamic sector in the job market. By integrating it, you can access many opportunities.
The position of Partner Marketing Manager allows you to learn a lot, by tackling rich and varied fields (digital, events, finance, partner relations, training/HR management) while increasing your skills in project management.
